Our Story: A Legacy of Paving Excellence Since 1954

For over 70 years, Riegler Blacktop has proudly served the Tri-State Area. What began as a small, family-run operation has grown into one of the most respected paving companies in Greater Cincinnati—built on hard work, quality craftsmanship, and a commitment to exceptional service.

Humble Beginnings & Family Values

In 1954, Len Riegler founded the company with just two trucks and a farm tractor. While Len trained his sons in the field, his wife Mary managed the business from the basement of their home in Erlanger, Kentucky. Together, they established the strong work ethic and family values that continue to guide us today.

After Len’s passing in 1988, his sons Boone and Ron, along with Mary, carried the business forward. In 1989, they relocated to Lendale Drive in Florence, Kentucky—a location that supported nearly three decades of steady growth.

Strategic Growth & Innovation

A major turning point came in 2006, when Boone and Ron opened the company’s first asphalt production plant on Weaver Road in Florence. This investment significantly expanded our capabilities, allowing us to take on larger, more complex projects.

By 2018, continued growth led to the construction of our current headquarters and maintenance facility, located adjacent to the plant. This centralized operation improved efficiency and created space for our growing team.

In 2025, we reached another milestone with the addition of a second, state-of-the-art asphalt plant in Wilder, Kentucky. This expansion enhances our flexibility and allows us to better serve clients across a wider region.

Third-Generation Leadership

Today, Riegler Blacktop remains a proud third-generation, family-owned business. Leadership combines decades of experience with forward-thinking ideas and modern technology.

Our success is driven not only by family leadership, but by the dedication of our team. Many of our employees have been with us for decades—a rare level of loyalty that reflects the culture we’ve built together.
